Alfa Romeo has become the next Formula 1 team to reveal a revised livery for this weekend’s inaugural race at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.

The Sauber-run outfit, which previously sported a tweaked colour scheme in Belgium and Italy, will run a slick all-black base design inspired by Las Vegas’s role as the Entertainment Capital of the World.

As such, an assembled playing card pattern influenced by the Las Vegas gambling scene is featured at the rear of the C43 car, with the heart suit cards including the number six to mark the total number of years Alfa Romeo and Sauber have shared an association.

While the sponsor decals remain white, the drivers’ race numbers have been displayed in gold. This colour also features on the predominantly black race overalls Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu will both wear, along with the Italian marque’s Quadrifoglio emblazoned across the chest.

Meanwhile, Alfa Romeo’s garage for the weekend will also be decked out in the team’s special look to celebrate the return of Las Vegas to the F1 roster after 41 years.

Bottas and Zhou unveiled the livery at the Alfa Romeo fan experience area at the Aria Hotel, situated on the Las Vegas Strip, where the drivers will race this weekend.
