Red Bull’s Max Verstappen has won the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.

The Dutchman’s victory – his 17th of the year – was claimed by a winning margin of 8.277s over McLaren’s Lando Norris.

Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso finished third, 34.155s back from Verstappen.

Sergio Perez claimed fourth in the second Red Bull, with Lance Stroll completing the top five in what was a positive outing for Aston Martin.

Carlos Sainz took sixth place in Sao Paulo, ahead of Alpine’s Pierre Gasly in seventh and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton in eighth.

AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda and Alpine’s Esteban Ocon completed the top-10.
