Max Verstappen has been summoned to the stewards at Formula 1’s Austrian Grand Prix after allegedly impeding during Q1.

Verstappen was summoned after allegedly baulking Haas’ Kevin Magnussen at Turn 1 during the opening qualifying session at the Red Bull Ring.

Magnussen continued on that lap, which was ultimately deleted for exceeding track limits, and he was knocked out of the session after struggling with a downshift issue.

Verstappen went on to safely progress to Q3 and claimed pole position.
